Today, employers overwhelmingly cite skyrocketing pharmaceutical costs as the number one driver of increasing health care trend. Join us on February 21-22, 2018 as we explore cutting edge thought processes and solutions to managing escalating Rx price tags at the Business Group’s first Employers’ Forum on Pharmacy Management. This employer-only event will focus on the current state of the pharmacy supply chain model in today’s pervasive high-deductible health plan environment and will seek to tackle the many medication cost-control challenges that employers face.

The Forum is an ideal opportunity for those passionate about managing pharmacy spending to come together early in the health care planning cycle to reflect on the prior year’s initiatives and strategize for 2019 and beyond.

The program will include presentations from thought-leaders, multi-stakeholder panels, small group workshops, peer benchmarking opportunities and networking events. Attendees will share challenges and strategies with other employers to learn from one another and make connections that will help them step up to the plate as key, innovative stakeholders in the pharmacy game.

Who May Attend?

The National Business Group on Health’s Employers’ Forum on Pharmacy Management is an employer-only event designed for human resources, benefits and wellness professionals to share their experiences and learn from each other. The Forum is open only to:

  • Individuals in a large employer setting who have solely internal-facing corporate HR, benefits, well-being, EAP, occupational health or corporate medical roles for their company's employees. Limit 3 attendees per company.

Only employers can register for these events, but each event includes a very limited number of invited industry thought leaders who will help guide the discussion. Individuals who have client facing or dual roles, such as sales, marketing, business development or product responsibilities, are not eligible to attend.



A block of rooms is available at the San Francisco Marriott Fisherman’s Wharf for all conference attendees at the group rate of $259 per night. Reservations must be made by January 30, 2018.
