Forty-eight employers responded to this survey, conducted between May 9, 2023, and May 23, 2023. This survey examines how large employers collect and manage data to inform their health and well-being initiatives, including the use of data warehouses.
- 67% of employers indicated they have a strategy in place to collect, store and analyze employee health and well-being data.
- Among employers with a data strategy, the most common challenge they face is the overwhelming amount of data that needs to be integrated and reported.
- 68% of employers indicated they have a data warehouse or aggregator to collect data and analyze trends in health and well-being programs in the U.S.
- 48% of employers manage their data and analytics using a combination of staff member(s) and a third-party vendor/consultant.
