Business Group on Health joined other stakeholder organizations representing employer plan sponsors, human resources professionals, and insurance plans in filing amicus briefs in cases heard in 2022 related to ERISA preemption in the U.S. Supreme Court and surprise medical billing provisions of the No Surprises Act under the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021 in U.S. District Courts for the District of Columbia and Eastern District of Texas.
