Experts agree that the COVID-19 pandemic is likely to exacerbate the growing suicide crisis. In addition to creating acute financial strain, the pandemic has caused grief, anxiety and loneliness, worsening the mental health of those with and without pre-existing behavioral health conditions. If there were ever a time for large employers to focus on suicide prevention and postvention, the time is now.

During this 75-minute Virtual Summit, three leading experts will provide attendees with both inspiration and a roadmap to make suicide prevention a health and safety priority at their company. Speakers will share the nine recommendations to change organizational practices and culture included in National Guidelines for Workplace Suicide Prevention, along with approaches to promote healing after such deeply distressing occurrences (suicide postvention).
