Developing appropriate workplace strategies to address tobacco use requires an understanding of the magnitude of tobacco use and its prevalence at a regional and country-level. This is especially true for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, where tobacco use remains a concern for employers. This presentation covers the magnitude of tobacco use and its prevalence throughout each region, specifically in South Africa, United Arab Emirates, Israel, the United Kingdom, Poland, and Nigeria, as well as the challenges and progress made in addressing the issue.
