Business Group on Health’s 2025 Employer Well-being Strategy Survey examines employers’ perspectives on the present and future state of employer-sponsored well-being program strategies and tactics. The survey results uncovered the ways that employers are approaching well-being across their entire workforce. For multinational employers, providing well-being programs requires navigating different cultures, laws and regulations.

Fielded in January and February 2025, the survey was completed by 131 employers that collectively employ 11.2 million employees worldwide. The survey participants represent a wide range of industries, employer sizes and geographic presence, and 60% of the respondents are multinational employers. Results from this survey represent employers’ offerings and perspectives across their entire workforce.

In conjunction with the survey, employer interviews were conducted to complement the survey findings. Key insights from these interviews helped interpret survey findings and identify trends.
