The rollout of COVID-19 vaccines in the U.S. has downgraded the coronavirus pandemic from an existential threat to a manageable challenge, according to Andy Slavitt, former Senior Advisor for COVID Response in the Biden Administration. But despite the great strides we’ve made as a country, there’s still more work to be done.
