A coalition of employers, patient groups, and other stakeholders, including the Business Group on Health, sent a letter to Congressional leaders warning against proposals to tax employer-sponsored health coverage. The letter highlights the vital role of the current tax treatment in maintaining access, affordability, and innovation in private health benefits, and outlines the harmful economic and health system consequences of limiting the tax exclusion.
