Pharmacy costs remain a top cost driver for employers and affordability issues continue to be a significant factor in patient adherence. In addition, 52% of large employers are concerned about the impact of coupons and patient assistance programs on consumer behavior when there are lower cost alternatives available. While the pharmacy supply chain needs a complete overhaul, explore how plan design can be one of the levers in both controlling costs and improving cost predictability for patients.
