Business Group on Health will be accepting proposals for sponsored sessions at the 2027 Annual Conference from October 5-16, 2026.


The Business Group on Health 2027 Annual Conference will take place in Washington, D.C. from April 28-30, 2027. Leaders will gather to explore innovative strategies, share best practices, and celebrate achievements related to workforce health and well-being.

Only Health Industry Partner members can submit proposals for session topics that address the challenges facing employers in the U.S. and around the world. Session proposals should be unique and compelling in terms of content, speakers and topic relevance in recognition of the broad change and cost increases employers are facing.

Topics may address emerging trends and solutions and feature success stories to help employers, such as:

  • Reducing healthcare and pharmacy costs in the U.S. and/or globally
  • Managing volatility and improving predictability of cost, anticipating future trends
  • Staying ahead of and embracing innovation in U.S. and global healthcare
  • Designing and delivering effective well-being programs
  • Advancing value in healthcare delivery through quality, access and experience improvements
  • Identifying opportunities and creating impactful solutions to manage high-cost and chronic conditions
  • Deploying AI, data and technology advancement in healthcare and health/well-being benefits
  • Measuring the effectiveness of health and well-being strategies and improving vendor accountability
  • Building global strategies for health and well-being
  • Influencing and adapting to the changing regulatory landscape

Agenda space is limited and interest in sessions is extremely high. Proposals should focus on topics and speakers that will bring a distinct perspective and inspire action. The Business Group may suggest changes to proposals or combine submissions to create a co-sponsored session.

A variety of speaking opportunities are available to sponsors at the Business Group on Health Annual Conference. Within your submission, please indicate whether your proposal is for either:


  • Conference Sessions:
    • 20 to 45-minute presentation
    • Sponsorship Fee: $17,500 - $30,000 depending upon the type of session and number of co-sponsors.
    • All Breakout and Focused Learning sessions require an employer speaker.
  • Lightning Round Sessions
    • 20-minute presentation during the employer-only portion of the Annual Conference.
    • Sponsorship Fee: $12,000
    • Lightning Round Sessions are designated for early-stage companies or existing companies that have leading-edge concepts or ideas to share with employers. Sessions are designed to highlight new offerings, thought leadership, research, survey insights or a demo.

The Annual Conference aims to provide attendees with a range of perspectives on current issues to help in their daily work.


Employer attendees value the opportunity to hear directly from their peers. Proposals featuring employer speakers are strongly preferred.


  • Employer speakers are individuals working for large and mid-size companies with a distinct employee benefit strategy, who have solely internal-facing corporate human resources, benefits, well-being or corporate medical roles serving their company’s employees, separate from any commercial interests of their organization. Employer speakers are not required to be from a Business Group on Health member company.

    Important: Sponsors must have employer speakers’ preliminary consent before including their names in the proposals provided through this process. All speakers for selected sessions require final approval by Business Group on Health.

  • Expert speakers are subject matter experts from a sponsoring company (employed by the sponsoring company and not a subsidiary or an affiliate), academia, or non-profit organizations. Advisors who are not employees of sponsoring companies are not eligible to present at the conference.

Only Business Group on Health members companies are eligible to submit a proposal to speak at a conference session. Active membership through April 30, 2027, is required for all session and supporting sponsorship opportunities.   • Member companies may submit up to two proposals. Each submission must include the topic description, speaker information and be highly relevant to the employer audience.
  • Members may submit a third proposal only if it is uniquely focused on a global topic that addresses the multi-country needs of global employers. Submissions beyond these limits will not be considered.
  • Agenda space is limited and interest in sessions is extremely high. Proposals should focus on topics and speakers that will bring a distinct perspective and inspire action.
  • The Business Group may suggest changes to proposals or combine submissions to create a co-sponsored session.

The Call for Ideas will close on Friday, October 16, 2026 at 5:00 pm ET. If your proposal is selected, you will be contacted by mid-November. The Business Group may suggest changes to some proposals or combine submissions to create a co-sponsored main stage session.

More details will be provided when the Call for Ideas submission website opens on October 5, 2026.

Session sponsors receive complimentary speaker, employer client and sponsor passes. The number of passes depends on the type of session. Sponsors’ logos will appear on the 2027 Annual Conference website and app. Sponsors also receive one pre-conference and one post-conference attendee list. The lists will include the first and last name, job title, company name, email address and country for registrants who opt-in to share their contact information.
