Business Group on Health 2026 Annual Conference Speaker Toolkit

Key Dates

• January 14, 2026: Agenda is announced
• January - March 2026: Speakers are required to participate in the session preparation calls. A Business Group on Health staff lead is assigned to each session to provide guidance and assist in session development and planning. The staff lead will follow up with speakers to schedule prep calls. Presentation slides and downloadable materials must be APPROVED by the Business Group.
• February 25, 2026: Early Bird Deadline for Employer registration
• March 13, 2026: Draft PowerPoint slides on the 2026 Annual Conference template are due. Sponsor logos may be included on the title slide only. Slides will be shared on the 2026 Annual Conference app with speaker’s permission only.
• March 13, 2026: Sponsor comp and Employer client pass registration deadline
• March 25, 2026: Hotel room block deadline
• March 30, 2026: Final presentation PowerPoint slides on the 2026 Annual Conference template are due. Sponsor logos may be included on the title slide only. Slides will be shared on the 2026 Annual Conference app with speaker’s permission only.

Presentation Guidelines

All speakers’ presentations should be developed using the 2026 Annual Conference PowerPoint Template which can be located in the Speaker Portal.

• Font size of at least 16 point (including labels for graphs). Slides should contain no more than 10 lines per slide.
• Presentations should provide original content that has not been presented within the past 90 days to an employer audience, be supported with references where needed and include:
• Current strategic expert insights.
• Employer‐relevant strategies and tactics, including tips and lessons learned.
• Cross‐employer benchmarks or comparisons, when possible.
• Applicable outcomes data (e.g., clinical, health and well-being, productivity, business performance).
• Speakers may not make disparaging comments about another company in their slides or remarks.
• Presentations with marketing content or promotions will not be permitted.
• Logos are limited to the title slide for each session.
• Seed Questions: Attendees may need a moment to craft their questions after digesting the information presented. Prepare seed questions to spark participation and conversations during the Q&A portion of the session.
• The Business Group on Health 2026 Annual Conference audience appreciates hearing from their fellow employers. Please plan and assign presentation time to allow for active participation from the employer speaker as well as conversation with the audience.
• Annual Conference sponsors, speakers and attendees are prohibited from audio or video recording at the conference. Recordings, or portion thereof, produced by the conference AV team will not be available to sponsors or speakers.

Speakers are responsible for making their own hotel reservation directly through the Annual Conference room block at the Sheraton New Orleans. Only registered 2026 Annual Conference speakers and attendees may reserve rooms.

• Room Rate: $279 plus tax / per night
• Group rate may be available 3 days pre- and post- official event dates, subject to availability
• Hotel Check-In: 4:00 pm
• Hotel Check- Out: 12:00 am

Room Block Policy

The 2026 Annual Conference room block at the Sheraton New Orleans is available to registered conference attendees only. The 3 registrant per company limit for health industry partners also applies to the room block. The link to make reservations is included in your conference registration confirmation email.

Please note: Companies not affiliated with Business Group on Health have been marketing that they can assist members with securing hotel rooms at the conference site. Please do not engage with these organizations. The room block for our conference is ONLY available to 2026 Annual Conference registrants.
