Payment and Delivery Reform: Employers and Health Plans Committee

The Payment and Delivery Reform (P&DR) Committee was established in October 2008 under the Institute on Health Care Costs and Solutions (IHCCS), to work on issues requiring the partnership of self-insured employers and major health plans.

The mission of the committee is to promote the collaboration between employers, major health plans and other industry partners to identify successes and challenges facing benefit managers that would be best explored in this collaborative environment. The Committee focuses on broad range of topics related to health care payment and service delivery models and on initiatives aimed at reduction of cost and improvement in care quality. Committee agenda topics include high-performance networks, health care system and provider consolidation, value-based care and innovative payment arrangements.
