Employee Benefits During Times of Natural Disaster or Crisis Situations
The purpose of this survey was to determine what benefits employers from a range of industries offer to employees during times of natural disaster or crisis situations. This survey looks specifically at services to assist in relocating affected employees, expanded paid leave options and uninsured benefits. Additionally, the survey asks about mental health services that are offered to affected employees. Thirty members of the Business Group responded to this survey, although this number may vary from question to question.

Employer Response to Hurricane Harvey
The purpose of this survey was to learn how other employers are responding to emergency situations in areas affected by Hurricane Harvey. This survey looks at how employers are handling operations as well as supporting employees in these areas. Specifically, this survey asks about prevalence of emergency relief funds, financial support and other benefits that are being offered to affected employees. Additionally, this survey looks at corporate giving programs and business continuity plans. Nineteen members of the Business Group responded to this survey.

Employee Emergency Relief Funds
The purpose of this survey is to determine how many employers offer ERFs and how they are managed. The survey looks at how ERFs are financed, employee eligibility requirements for withdrawals, policies/guidelines employers have around ERFs, and how ERFs are administered. Twenty-five members of the Business Group responded to this survey.
