Business Group on Health Podcast Wins 4 Top Honors for Creative Excellence

WASHINGTON, D.C., May 12, 2022The Business Group on Health Podcast earned four prestigious awards for innovative episodes across diverse subjects, the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts (AIVA) announced this week.

The accolades, known as the 28th Annual Communicator Awards, were awarded to the Business Group in the categories of business; science and medicine; public service/activism; and diversity, equity and inclusion.

The international awards program honors creative excellence for marketing and communications professionals. The annual competition, judged by AIVA, honors the best in advertising, corporate communications, public relations and identity work for print, video, interactive and audio. This year, more than 5,000 entries were submitted from around the globe.

The podcast, launched in June 2020, is co-hosted by Vice President LuAnn Heinen and produced by Vice President Pam Kalen and Director Pamela Rich in partnership with Connected Social Media.

Award of Distinction (Individual Episodes – Diversity, Equity & Inclusion))

Equality, Inclusion and Belonging for LGBTQ Employees: Insights from Accenture,” Beck Bailey, managing director for Inclusion & Diversity, Accenture, in conversation with LuAnn Heinen, air date: Oct. 11, 2021
