SVP of The Center for Digital Health & Innovation
A digital health leader and clinician with over 25 years of experience designing, implementing and optimizing the health care delivery system using digital health tools and technology. She is the SVP of The Center for Digital Health & Innovation for Optum Health, where she is creating a first-of-its-kind connected health ecosystem using industry-leading digital health tools and telehealth. She most recently led clinical operations for Amazon Care, a healthcare initiative for Amazon employees and their families. Before joining Amazon, she designed and launched a national solutions center for patient access, virtual care, and care coordination for Ascension Health. She has a proven track record of delivering successful programs at scale that improve health and save money. She is an adjunct faculty member in Population Health at the Dell Medical School at the University of Texas-Austin and at the University of Washington School of Nursing.
Henderson thrives with complex challenges and consistently delivers results that exceed expectations. She is known for her ability to execute and sustain these models in advance of them becoming an industry standard as evidenced by her first launch of a telehealth program in 2003 which is recognized as one of only two of HRSA’s Centers of Excellence. She is resourceful, collaborative and known for her creative solutions that engage patients and empower clinicians. She has testified before multiple U.S. Senate committees and given numerous presentations across the country, including a TEDx, to advance telehealth policy and share innovative new models of care.
A few of her other leadership roles include service as an executive board member for the American Telemedicine Association; Association of American Medical Colleges Telehealth Committee member, American Nurses Association co-chair for Committee on Connected Health and National Quality Forum Telehealth Committee. She is a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing and the Emergency Nurses Association.
Henderson received her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she was recognized as the 2019 Distinguished Alumna from the School of Nursing. She maintains national certification as a family and acute care nurse practitioner.
Strategic Benefit Advisors, a Brown & Brown Company
Ryan June, is a Principal for Strategic Benefit Advisors (SBA), a Brown & Brown Company. Within this role he leads client strategic initiatives, helps manage SBA’s data analytics practice and is a member of SBA’s Innovation Hub with a focus on Virtual Care. He holds an MBA degree from the University of New Haven. Most recently he was Director of Healthcare Analytics at Teladoc Inc., where he was responsible for the methodological approach and analysis of the Teladoc value proposition to its customers.
Prior to joining Teladoc, Ryan was a Medical Underwriter with Oxford Health Plans and Tufts Health Plan, working to analyze costs and identifying client trends to help guide client strategy. Ryan then moved to Mercer as a Health and Benefits Consultant, where, while working with many large national clients, he continued using his analytic background to help develop, analyze and implement benefit strategies. Beginning in 2012, he led Mercer’s national telemedicine initiative and was responsible for vetting the expanding Telemedicine industry, introducing clients to Telemedicine savings opportunities, and providing best in market access.

Ellen is president and CEO of Business Group on Health. Previously, Ellen served as Chief Strategy Officer of the Business Group. During this time, she was responsible for shaping the strategy for the organization and its membership. She had overall strategic and operational responsibility for all key initiatives.
Prior to joining the Business Group, Ellen was a senior partner at Mercer; a global human resources consulting firm. During her 20-year tenure with Mercer, she held several roles including: senior strategic consultant, member of the North America Leadership Team, and market business leader for East, South, Mid Atlantic and Canadian regions. She was responsible for leading the successful delivery of strategic consulting services to clients across the geography. She also led several strategic and operational initiatives on behalf Mercer’s North America Health & Benefits business. Ellen worked at Aetna prior to joining Mercer.
Ellen has a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology and business administration from the University of Richmond and is a graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She is a member of several industry organizations and is an active volunteer at the Arlington Free Clinic.
Senior Vice President of Solutions Management & Marketing
Umair Khan, Senior Vice President of Solutions Management & Marketing, Accolade.
As Senior Vice President of Solutions Management & Marketing, Umair leads the solution management, positioning and packaging for Accolade’s product offerings. Umair is an early Accolade employee, joining in 2010 when Accolade was pilot testing the company’s first customer. During his tenure at Accolade, he has held multiple roles covering product development, product strategy, managing daily operations and developing Accolade’s proprietary behavior influence model.
Prior to Accolade, Umair held leadership roles in strategic planning at GE Healthcare and worked as a management consultant at Monitor Group. He earned his Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and his Bachelor’s from the University of Houston.
Corey M. McCann, MD, PhD
President and CEO
Corey M. McCann, MD, PhD, is the President and CEO of Pear Therapeutics, a pioneer in prescription digital therapeutics, as the first company to receive market authorization for software to treat disease. Previously, Corey was an investor with MPM Capital, where he evaluated new healthcare investment opportunities, managed relationships with strategic partners, and oversaw strategy and execution at portfolio companies. Prior to MPM, he was an Engagement Manager with McKinsey & Company, where he advised pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotechnology companies on the acquisition, development, and commercialization of life science technologies. He led McKinsey’s central nervous system expertise group, advising clients across the healthcare value chain.
Corey has previous investment experience with RiverVest Venture Partners, where he performed diligence on early stage investments, and at NeuroInsights, where he evaluated brain-related technologies. Corey is also a co-founder, advisor, or Board Director at AgNovos Healthcare, Alcyone Lifesciences, Dragonfly Sciences, Edumedics, Resolute Bio, Selexys Pharmaceuticals, and Zillion Health.
Corey trained as a physician-scientist via the Medical Scientist Training Program. For his PhD, he studied the molecular biology of synapses at Harvard University and at Washington University in St Louis. He was also a post-doctoral researcher at the Massachusetts General Hospital where he developed imaging techniques for the visualization of the brain. He received his MD from Washington University in St. Louis. He graduated summa cum laude from The Pennsylvania State University where he was an Evan Pugh Scholar, receiving a BS in Biology with minors in neuroscience, biochemistry, and molecular biology.
Ateev Mehrotra, MD

Ateev Mehrotra, M.D., M.P.H. is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health Care Policy at Harvard Medical School.
Much of Dr. Mehrotra’s research focuses on the impact of innovations in delivery such as retail clinics and telemedicine have on quality, costs, and access to health care. He is also interested in the role of consumerism and whether price transparency and public reporting of quality can impact patient decision making. Related work has focuses on quality measurement including how natural language processing can be used to analyze the data in electronic health records to measure the quality of care.
Dr. Mehrotra receives his B.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco and completed his residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Boston. His clinical work has been both as a primary care physician and as an adult and pediatric hospitalist. He also has received formal research training with a Masters of Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley and a Masters of Science in Epidemiology from the Harvard School of Public Health. In 2008, he received the Milton W. Hamolsky Award for Outstanding Scientific Presentation by a Junior Faculty Member by the Society of General Internal Medicine. In 2013, he received the Alice S. Hersh New Investigator Award from AcademyHealth for health services researchers early in their careers who show exceptional promise.
Ami Parekh, MD, JD

Dr. Ami Parekh, MD, JD, is the Chief Health Officer at Grand Rounds Health and Doctor On Demand where she leads clinical and provider strategies to accelerate the company’s leadership in employee health navigation. Dr. Parekh is passionate about using her skills and knowledge base to help as many people as possible facing healthcare decisions.
Prior to Grand Rounds Health, she was Chief Medical Officer for Population Health and Clinical Integration for UCSF Health, where she helped build the clinical, analytic, and organizational infrastructure to take on financial risk for populations. Dr. Parekh also previously worked for McKinsey and Company. She attended Yale Medical School and Yale Law School and completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She was named one of the 50 Healthcare Leaders Under 40 by Becker’s Hospital Review in 2016.
Global Health and Well-being Leader
Sheila Savageau is the Global Health and Well-being Leader at General Motors. Sheila has been with General Motors (GM) since 2013 and has strategic oversight for global healthcare innovation and well-being strategy. Sheila has been instrumental in establishing and executing the healthcare strategy for General Motors through innovation to the healthcare delivery model. Sheila is an advocate for improving the member experience, driving engagement in the healthcare system and improving healthcare quality for GM employees and family members. Sheila led the strategy and delivery of the first value-based direct contract with Henry Ford Health System in 2019 and continues to evolve value-based initiatives in various markets. Sheila is an active member of employer coalitions, including Business Group on Health, the ERISA Industry Committee, Corporate Health Care Coalition and the Economic Alliance of Michigan.
Prior to joining General Motors, Sheila led global benefits strategy and design at Ingersoll Rand.
Sheila has experience in the areas of finance, operations, strategy and innovation.
Business Group on Health
Brenna Shebel joined Business Group on Health in July 2006. She currently oversees the strategy and day-to-day operations of the Business Group’s Center for Data-Driven Insights (CDDI), which provides Business Group members with key statistics and benchmarking data to identify trends and best practices in the areas of health care benefits, delivery system transformation, well-being and workforce strategy. Before joining the CDDI team, Shebel coordinated the operations for the Business Group’s Institute on Health Care Costs and Solutions.
Before joining the Business Group, Shebel worked for Healthy Maine Partnerships (HMP) in promoting physical activity, nutrition, and tobacco resistance activities in schools, communities and workplaces in southern Maine. At HMP, she led efforts to establish tobacco-free communities, created youth advocacy programs in three school districts, and assisted with workplace wellness initiatives. Before that, she served as a research assistant at Dartmouth Medical School where she collected data for diabetes research, and mentored adolescents with a chronic illness in a variety of clinical, academic and community settings.
Shebel received a Bachelor of Science degree in community health education from the University of Maine at Farmington and a Master of Science degree in health policy and management from the Muskie School of Public Service at the University of Southern Maine. Shebel has also completed a certificate in benefits and compensation from the Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations. She is also a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES).
VP, Global Benefits
Tracey Stephens is VP of Global Benefits for Dell, one of the largest global technology employers. Tracey has served in this role since 2017. Major accomplishments under her tenure as global benefits leader have included the redesign of over 300 benefits plans around the world supporting benefits harmonization of EMC, expansion and evolution of the global benefits HR delivery model, automation & digital transformation of benefits programs & administration, and enhanced marketing & personalization of benefits driving significant improvements in perception of benefits. As a next frontier, she will continue to advance digital strategies further in the areas of mental health, condition management, data analytics and predictive modeling, and wellness programing.
Tracey joined Dell in 2013 to lead the company’s U.S. Healthcare strategy. Over time she assumed responsibilities for the full U.S. Health & Welfare Benefits team, the position she held prior to taking over the VP of Global Benefits role.
During Tracey’s tenure at Dell, the company has been recognized multiple times as a great place to work, and the company’s benefits and wellness programs are often cited as an integral component of this recognition.
Tracey has a bachelor’s degree in accounting (University of Texas) and a bachelor’s degree in secondary education (Texas A&M University), and is a Certified Public Accountant in Texas.
Brad Younggren, MD
Chief Medical Officer
Brad joined 98point6 in 2017 as chief medical officer. Prior to his role at 98point6, Brad spent nearly 20 years working as a physician and has served as chief medical officer at Cue, Shift Labs and Mobisante. Brad still works as an emergency physician at EvergreenHealth and is their medical director of emergency preparedness, trauma and urgent care. He received his bachelor’s degree from UCLA and his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. Brad also earned both a Bronze Star and the Combat Medic Badge for his service in Iraq as a U.S. Army physician.
