Fifty-five large employer members of Business Group on Health responded to this survey. The purpose of this survey was to explore how large employers were supporting employees with school-aged children during the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Supporting employees with school-aged children during the pandemic is viewed by many large employers as a way to support both their employees and the business overall. However, a lengthy pandemic could create additional challenges as employers strive to keep costs down and productivity up.
- Large employers are quickly assessing and implementing support programs, virtual solutions and other benefits to support working parents whose children might be in a virtual learning environment this fall.
- Employers are also working with their current vendors to better leverage existing tools and programs to assist employees and their families.
