Providing benefits in a global environment is a complex challenge for multinational companies. To help employers navigate this landscape, the Business Group hosted the Global Summit, a new annual employer-only meeting tailored to address the compelling priorities and challenges of global health and benefits professionals. Global topics discussed included leave and caregiving policies; mental health initiatives engagement and measures; forecast of future population trends; alternative purchasing strategies (e.g., captives and multinational pooling arrangements); and benefits strategy to address the needs of a mobile workforce.
