The Business Group submitted comments on a proposed rule (CMS-1751-P) recommending proposed changes to increase access to health care services provided via telehealth.

Specifically, the Business Group:

Agreed with CMS approach to continue evaluating temporary expansion of telehealth services that were added to the telehealth coverage list during the COVID-19 public health emergency (PHE) by permitting coverage of those services until the end of December 31, 2023.
Supported CMS approach to implement changes required by law to ease access to telemental health with specific caveats around the establishment of a doctor patient relationship and appropriate follow-up care.
