Seventy employers responded to this survey, conducted between April 4 and April 18, 2022. This survey examines telehealth coverage and cost for high-deductible health plan and copay-only plans in response to the most recent passing of the Consolidated Appropriation Act.
- 25% of employers will cover telehealth services before the deductible for their highdeductible health plan (HDHP) employees.
- 50% of those employers will not require any cost sharing for telehealth services.
- Only 32% of employers with copay-only health plans cover telehealth services before the deductible.
