- Evaluate specific issues that are important for controlling costs, improving quality and access and adopting value-based care and payment models;
- Inform the development of alternative approaches to networks and care delivery, the analysis of potential solutions and business cases for these alternatives;
- Monitor advancements in medicine including how to pay for the explosion of new technologies;
- Identify strategic and structural changes in the health care delivery system that potentially change the health care cost/value and how these emerging changes can alter the role of employers;
- Influence the agenda of the Business Group conferences and publication topics to showcase emerging trends and generate actionable insights for members; and
- Monitor developments in health care policy, share timely insights and identify the potential impact of changes on employers.

Cost & Delivery Institute
The Cost & Delivery Institute creates a forum for discussions on a broad range of strategic topics related to health care affordability, value and quality and provides insights for resources created by Business Group on Health for the benefit of all members. Specific topics addressed include cost mitigation strategies, care quality and clinical innovation, value-based care and payment models, use of data and technology, transparency, access and affordability, benefit and program design, partner accountability and more.
Benefits of Cost & Delivery Institute participation include:
- Three in-person meetings per year (virtual participation available) with a networking dinner the night prior to the meeting;
- Opportunity to participate virtually in meetings, if unable to attend in person and/or send an alternate;
