  • Register for Webinars
    Invitations for Webinars are sent electronically to all of our members approximately 10 business days in advance of the event. All webinars are listed on the calendar and in the semi-monthly membership report. In addition, if you miss a Webinar on the day it takes place recordings of past Webinars are available online and presentation slides can be found in our publications database.

  • Participate in monthly conference calls
    The Business Group offers several conference call series for those members with an interest in specific topics. Monthly calls are offered on Full Replacement Consumer-Directed Health Plans and on Consumer Directed Health Plans. For more information on these initiatives, please contact info@businessgrouphealth.org. To participate in regular conference calls of the Pandemic Preparedness Work Group or the Medicare Employer Forum Work Group please update your email preferences and you will receive the information for these calls.

  • Request or Participate in Surveys
    Member-requested Quick Surveys are a popular benefit of membership. Participants in member-requested surveys receive benchmarking information or in-depth analysis on a variety of HR and Benefits topics. Corporate members who are contemplating a change or new strategy and are interested in benchmarking with other employers are invited to contact the Membership and Member Services Department for more information.

  • Ask for benchmarking information
    Requests for information can be directed to a specific department or staff member. When contacting membership@businessgrouphealth.org your request will be directed to the appropriate person. Benchmarking solutions include surveys, in-depth research and analysis and existing Business Group resources and tools.

  • Access online resources
    Solutions Online, our online database of tested solutions contains strategies and tools used by employers to better manage many health care cost areas. All available resources, including tool kits, background information, summaries, presentations, best practices, member profiles and survey results, can be found on a wide variety of benefits, health and policy topics in the A-Z indices of these areas. For detailed search options, based on your topic(s) of interest, please visit our Publications Database.

  • Post job openings
    Please visit the Career Center and submit the job description for open HR and Benefits positions within your company. As an exclusive benefit for our members, the position will be posted on our website for 45 days, at no charge, and viewable by HR and Benefits professionals in member companies as well as the public.

  • Attend conferences and meetings
    Annual conferences include Business Health Agenda, The Joint Forum on Health, Productivity and Absence Management and Employer Summits. Summits offer a forum for corporate members to learn from each other and develop new tools and solutions in the areas of Health Care Costs and Obesity. Business Group members are offered a highly discounted rate for all of these events. For all upcoming events and detailed information, please check our calendar.

  • Network with other HR and Benefits Professionals
    Conferences, meetings, Employer Summits and the participation in surveys are a great opportunity to network with peers and share ideas and recent developments. HR and Benefits Professionals are also invited to take part in our Online Member Directory which provides access to contact information of participating members.

  • Join a Council
    • Public Policy Advisory Group
      The Public Policy Advisory Group assists Business Group staff and Board in identifying health benefits and health care issues most important to employer members and in focusing policy resources on those issues. The council aids in the development of member-driven public positions, makes recommendations on priority issues, advises on the types and level of resource commitments devoted to priority issues, assists in preparing policy documents and in recruiting members for testimony, and encourages member advocacy.     • Pharmaceutical Council
      The Pharmaceutical Council's goal is to identify and implement initiatives to improve the accuracy, safety, quality, cost, and ultimately the sustainability of employer-sponsored prescription drug benefits.
