2015 Awards Program
The Best Employers for Healthy Lifestyles® award program recognizes workplace well-being initiatives that are comprehensive, innovative and effective. The objectives of the award program are to: (1) promote external and internal recognition of effective programs and best practices and (2) provide a forum for sharing and comparing interventions, outcomes and success strategies. Since 2005, winning companies have achieved strong engagement leading to improved health outcomes for employees and their families with culturally appropriate programs and communications.
The National Business Group on HealthSM continues to evolve award criteria to reflect new evidence on "what works," a changing policy environment and other developments affecting corporate health and well-being initiatives. The Best Employers for Healthy Lifestyles® application allows organizations to document their achievements and build the business case for investing in employee wellness. Awardees receive benchmarking reports and feedback on their completed application.
