Elizabeth Greenbaum
Manager
Elizabeth Greenbaum is a Manager in the Center for Prevention and Health Services. She started at the Business Group in June 2005. Since then, she has worked on a variety of projects related to preventive service coverage, immunization best practices, pharmaceutical benefit design, integration of health services, and chronic disease management.
Prior to joining the Business Group, Elizabeth worked as a Policy Analyst for the Maternal Child Health Policy Research Center, studying consumer driven health care and its implications for children with special health care needs and their families. Before becoming interested in private-sector healthcare, Elizabeth worked for the State Coverage Initiative (SCI), a Robert Wood Johnson funded project to support improved coverage rates within state-sponsored healthcare plans. During that time, she researched how state budget crises impact state sponsored health programs. Elizabeth has also worked with the State of Michigan's Department of Community Health to develop a chronic disease awareness program. This National Governors' Association project attempted to focus legislative attention on the state's burden of chronic disease, then ranked the second worst in the country.
Elizabeth holds a Bachelor's of Arts degree from the University of Chicago in Human Development and a Master's degree in Public Health (MPH) from the University of Michigan.
